Hey there! My name is Natalya, the face behind Stay Pooched Petcare. I started my journey back in 2019 with my two beloved doggos, Maddox and Reese by my side. At the time, I was volunteering with a couple different rescues, assisting a friend with her local dog walking company, and living for my time off work to explore Vancouver with my boys. After coming to the realization I wasn't fulfilled in my life, I decided to make a change.. and Stay Pooched was born! Seeing the heartbreaking reality of the pet care industry, where profit often outweighs animal well-being, ignited a fire within me. Determined to create a different standard, I expanded Stay Pooched with a clear vision: to build a team of passionate individuals who share my commitment to providing exceptional care and companionship for our furry clients. By bringing on more dedicated pet care professionals, I knew we could reach more families and ensure that every dog received the love, attention, and safety they deserve. I'm committed to creating a community built on trust and reliability, where pet owners can feel confident that their beloved companions are in the best possible hands. With a lifelong passion for animals cultivated through owning dogs as a child, to currently caring for two cats and a bearded dragon named Steve Buscemi, my love of all things furry, scaley or feathery knows no bounds! Hello pooches & pooch parents! My name is Sara Rivera. I have been an animal enthusiast for as long as I can remember. Why I got into the industry is because of my love for all animals, being able to see the growth in a dog’s confidence, and seeing them evolve into the best pups they can be. I also want to make a positive impact for your fur friends and you as well! I have a dog myself; his name is Money. He’s an American Pitbull Terrier and a shelter rescue who was on the euthanasia list. When I got him, he had severe human and dog reactivity. He is the reason I am a huge Pitbull advocate & passionate about dog training because with lots of love, training, and repetition, my boy can now be off leash and is super neutral with humans and dogs! I am working towards becoming CCPDT certified, to reach my goal of being a trainer in the lower mainland.  What do I love about my job? Basically everything, but the highlights are the clients, being outdoors, and building beautiful relationships with your amazing pups! I can’t wait to meet you and your beautiful doggos!
